Remember back into childhood – didn’t we expect that things would always work out and that good things would happen for us? At some point along the path of growing up, many of us stopped believing in this. What happened?

I understand that life isn’t always a bed of roses. Things happen, and we stop having nave belief that all will be just fine. Still, there are some people who keep that optimism throughout their lifetimes.

You know what? Those same optimists have lives that seem to flow better than folks who are always complaining. I can’t help but wonder if there is a connection between expecting that things are going to work out for the best, and having better outcomes actually occur.

See if you can’t copy those optimists, even if only for a day. You may find that you notice more good in your life, and more good in the world.

When you are thinking happy thoughts and you are optimistic, you are relaxed and you believe that it will all be ok. You should try this some time.
